Rockit appoints Sarah Le Verne as Chief People Officer

As Rockit Global continues its growth journey into 2027 and beyond, the innovative healthy snacking company has announced the appointment of Sarah Le Verne as its new Chief People Officer (CPO).

Sarah joins Rockit from New Zealand technology company MATTR, where she is currently Global Head of People and Culture. She brings extensive leadership experience across commercial and not-for-profit organisations in New Zealand and internationally, having held senior roles with organisations including Fonterra, Russell McVeagh, Babcock, EROAD and others.

Rockit Global CEO, Grant McBeath, says Sarah’s appointment comes at an exciting time for the business as it continues to strengthen its global team and capabilities.

“Sarah stood out during the recruitment process for her practical, people-first approach and strong experience navigating modern workplaces. She also demonstrated a genuine willingness to roll up her sleeves and do what is required for the benefit of the team. Her experience working in agile and hybrid environments, along with her curiosity around artificial intelligence and personal development, will be a valuable addition to Rockit’s leadership team.”

Throughout her career, Sarah has worked across a diverse range of industries including technology, health, engineering and manufacturing, hospitality and FMCG, construction, legal services and broadcasting, building high-performing cultures and supporting organisations through growth and change.

Sarah says she is thrilled to join the Rockit team at such a pivotal moment for the business. “Rockit has built an incredible, innovative brand, and I can’t wait to work alongside Grant and the wider team to support our people, back our teams to succeed and help drive the strategy forward in the years ahead.”

Sarah will commence with Rockit on 28 September and is relocating from Auckland to Hawke’s Bay.
