Chief Executive Officer
Mark O'Donnell
Mark O’Donnell (MOD) is the Chief Executive Officer of Rockit Global Ltd, joining the team in January 2021. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from a broad sector of businesses, with strong experience in technology, FMCG, manufacturing and B2B and B2C services.
Chief Financial Officer
Steven Anderson
Steven Anderson leads the finance team and is responsible for the financial, commercial and risk management functions of the business. Joining the business in 2021, he has a strong background in global FMCG and agriculture following 10+ years at Fonterra along with previous commercial leadership and investment banking roles.
General Manager Global Marketing
Julian Smith
Julian Smith joined Rockit Global Ltd as the General Manager of Global Marketing in July 2020, bringing over 20 years’ experience in global marketing roles. He has led global brands such as Les Mills, Steinlager Pure and Icebreaker and developed some of New Zealand’s leading primary sector and horticulture brands. He is now driving strong global brand success for Rockit.
General Manager People and Culture
Kelly Doyle
Kelly Doyle joined Rockit Global Ltd in November 2021 as General Manager, People and Culture, and has over 15 years working in global human resources roles. She is leading Rockit’s people and safety functions through continued growth, while highlighting the importance of our people. Kelly is passionate about building leadership capability, employee wellbeing and fostering a culture of success.
General Manager Global Sales
Mark Pay
Mark Pay joined Rockit Global Ltd in 2017 and is the General Manager Global Sales. With expertise in team leadership and category development, Mark is known for his visionary approach, and proven record in successfully identifying emerging trends and creating new product categories to drive revenue growth. His strategic acumen, strong analytical skills, and customer-centric focus have allowed him to optimize sales performance and forge lasting business relationships. Mark’s strong global retail connections and industry leading credibility has seen Rockit™ apple disrupt the global snacking market with a healthy alternative.
General Manager Operations
Scott Griffin
Scott joined the Rockit Global team in January 2020 as the General Manager for RPC Operations following 15 years in the Royal New Zealand Air Force. Bringing extensive leadership and management skills in challenging national and global environments, Scott is responsible for all Rockit post-harvest activities including the packhouse and supply chain elements of the business.

Stuart Dykes
Stuart joined Rockit Global Ltd in 2018, bringing 22 years’ experience in various technical and operational roles spanning numerous countries. He has strong people leadership capability as well as considerable strategic and operations management experience in both manufacturing and contracting industries.
General Manager Growing and Quality
Lachlan McKay
Lachlan McKay joined the Rockit Global team as General Manager of Technical and Quality in 2022. He has been involved in horticulture for 30+ years in orchard management, agronomy, consultancy, and general management. He is responsible for the craft and quality of our product, while building and documenting the knowledge of Rockit™ apple across our business and growers.
General Manager Commercial & General Councel
Tom Lane
Tom Lane joined Rockit in 2021 with more than 15 years experience in advisory and executive roles with leading local and global FMCG businesses. Tom supports the wider Rockit business to create value through commercial strategy, IP creation and protection framework, and ESG program.
Our Stories
Wayne Mason
Inwards Goods Supervisor
Wayne started his career at Rockit in 2015 as a Forklift Driver, he is now the Inwards Good Supervisor. He is responsible for supervising the reciepts of all incoming goods arriving at our packhouse, ensuring all goods coming in have been ordered and paid for. Wayne loves Rockit because of the people, culture, and meeting new people each season. “My favourite memories at Rockit are the funny moments during the most mundane tasks.”
Leanne Sandbrook
People & Culture Coordinator
Leanne started her career at Rockit in 2020 as Shift Supervisor, within the space of a year, she is now P&C Coordinater. Her role involves assisting the packhouse team, employment, wages, issue, backup payroll, and working with contractors. Leanne loves that Rockit makes her feel valued “I’m not a number, feel part of a family, and heard.” Her Rockit highlights include the exciting move into the new building, meeting packhouse team each day, and seeing people return each year. She enjoys spending time with her family and her pets.
