How to rock 2025

3 minute read

Ready to make 2025 your healthiest and happiest year yet?

The new year and new goals go hand-in-hand. But all too often we go too big. Yes, it’s great to be ambitious, but setting big, overly bold or unrealistic goals does not always pay off. It’s estimated that 80% of New Year resolutions never come to fruition, and most people lose their motivation and commitment just a few weeks in.

This is why ‘going small’ can be the smartest move. Making mini goals can make things much more achievable – and as a result, your mental, emotional and physical wellness will thrive.

3 things to remember about resolutions

#1 Start with small tweaks towards healthier routines: If you aim to boost your fruit intake, add one extra side of fruit or vegetable to every meal – it will soon become an automatic behaviour. If you want to start exercising each day, put workout gear by your bed before you go to sleep – it removes one hurdle for you to get up and get dressed for a workout, and you have more chance of it becoming a habit.

#2 Choose just one thing: Changing your daily routine can feel overwhelming, so start with just one thing. For example, swap your mid-afternoon sweet treat for a healthy Rockit™ apple. Once you’ve made that a habit, move on to another lifestyle tweak.

#3 Be kind to yourself: Life can get in the way of your good intentions. If your focus goes out the window for a few days, don’t sweat it. Just get back on track as soon as you can.
