Rockit Global Announces New General Manager, Greater China

Innovative New Zealand snack sized apple company, Rockit Global is thrilled to welcome new General Manager Greater China, Cullen Zhang to its Global Senior Leadership Team as it continues its strategic growth into 2025 and beyond.

China is a key export market for Rockit, and Rockit Global CEO Grant McBeath says Zhang’s appointment comes at a key time for the business.

“Zhang’s excellent leadership capabilities and commercial skills, with a real focus on building strong teams who are committed to their customers and delivering high performance, will be critical in leading the Greater China markets while supporting the strong growth that is projected over the next five years.

“His experience in building and changing channels to adapt to the rapid growth in modern trade in China, as well as his focused approach to building demand and brands will be essential in supporting our 2025 strategy, where we will be launching new products and growing our distribution and consumer base,” says McBeath.

Zhang joins Rockit after eight years with one of the world’s fastest growing snacking companies, pladis and with previous experience at Metro China, Luxottica, Danone, Ferrero China and Gillette. He brings broad knowledge in sales and marketing, along with extensive experience in channel, key account management, brand strategy, supply chain management, warehousing, and logistics.
